Converting a Verizon Wireless Prepaid Phone to Contract Service
Your Verizon Prepay phone can be converted to a Contract phone if you have used it for six months or more as a prepaid phone. You will not have to sign a contract to add this to a contract. I added a prepaid phone to my son’s contract for $10 a month on a month by month basis. This is great a Long Term Contract rate and I did not sign a long term contract.
Verizon Wireless has one of the biggest and most reliable cellular networks in the nation. Verizon Wireless also offers pay as you go Wireless services. This is a picture of the Logo that we all relate to “Can you Hear Me Now.”
The Verizon Prepaid Basic Plan with 25 cents per minute and no daily access fee. The Verizon Wireless Basic plan is not a good value when you compare to other prepaid plans.
Net10.com for 10 cents a minute or Tracfone.com. from 6.6 cents up to 33 cents a minute are much better options.
The Core Plan will cost you 99 cents per day for access and calls are 10 cents per minute. Unlimited calls to other Verizon Wireless mobile phones are free of charge. I utilized theVerizon Core program for nearly a year, if most of your phone calls tend to be to other Verizon Wireless phones this can be a good deal.
The Verizon Plus Plan is $1.99 per day access and charges 5 cents per minute. In essence this is the same as the Core plan with Unlimited Nites and Weekends added and you will only pay 5 cents per text to receive and send.
The Verizon Prepaid Unlimited Talk Plan offers Unlimited minutes and one-cent text messages for $3.99 per day.

I only recently got into the prepaid market due to a similar article I saw. I recently got a prepaid phone from Net10. I chose net10 due to their amazing 10c per minute rate for all calls within the US (incl. long distance) and to many international destinations (as I have friends and family in the UK). I got the Motorola EM326g for $59.99, which has everything I need and came with 300 minutes and 60 days coverage. Seemed like a great deal and looking back it was!
I have better coverage than ever before and am saving around $100 a month! I will never go back, prepaid is the way forward…
